lyrics
In schools and children's TV shows
They tell you what to think
You start to be too different
They send you to a shrink
Inventing syndromes and disorders
To label those outside the norm
Feed us drugs and we'll be quiet
In drunken stupors we conform
Teach them to memorize and swallow all the lies
Keep them between the lines and paralyze their minds
Teacher teach them now
What they should believe
Teacher teach them how
To behave like sheep
Teach them to submit
Teach them to obey
Make 'em feel like shit
When they get in the way
There's no students left behind
No skills taught anymore
Always teaching to the test
As we drown in a common core
A textbook is such a beautiful thing
Make it all so simple and so clear
Teaching mythology as fact
And even making facts disappear
Teacher teacher us now
What we should believe
Teacher teach us how
To behave like sheep
Teach us what to think
Teach us what to say
Teach us to submit
Teach us to obey

I received this as a surprise present by the band for pre-ordering the upcoming album, so thanks a lot to you, too :-))
As could be expected by Pat Sanders & Co, highly melodic prog that should, for instance, appeal too friends of Fish-era Marillion (although Uncle Fish would never have reached those high notes ;-) ) and some instrumentals (from beautiful miniatures like Bubbles to the more epic Last Supper). Among many other fine things offered here, I especially love Pat's piano playing! Carsten Pieper
Hooked at once, just the mood I needed. Very good quality on progrock.com. Ordered vinyls and FLAC instantly.
EDIT: Listened the entire album from my DAC and FLAC files, it is a journey, it is amazing. The free listen files available on bandcamp do NOT do justice to the tremendous production. I am a fan of Eloy, Porcupine Tree and King Crimson on a daily basis and if the work of the aforementioned clicks well with you, this work is to be highly recommended. outdatedtv
